Started by Alex, run today with his son
Alex started USA Hardwood Floors LLC more than twenty years ago with a pickup truck, a rented sander, and a stack of flyers left in mailboxes around the neighborhood. The first jobs were small: a hallway, a bedroom, a floor for a neighbor who had seen the truck parked down the street. People talked, and before long he had more work than one guy could handle, so he hired a couple of people he trusted and taught them to do it right, even the parts nobody will ever see.
Alex Jr. grew up around all of it. Saturdays meant riding along in the truck, sweeping up sawdust, and asking why the boards go down the way they do. Somewhere along the way the questions turned into real work, and these days he and his dad work side by side. One or both of them still go out on most of the quotes.
We work all over Washington and Oregon, from a single room to a whole house. The quote is free, we show up when we said we would, and when we leave, the house is cleaner than it was when we got there.
